Wallplates
Video and audio wallplates can make for a cleaner, simpler, and more professional-looking installation where cables need to be routed through walls. We offer HDMI wallplates in both UK and US shapes, as well as "keystone"-style wallplates (in US-shape only) which accommodate a variety of inserts for RCA, BNC, F, speaker binding post, and Ethernet connections.
HDMI Wallplates:
We carry HDMI wallplates in two different plate configurations: "UK" and "US" type. The UK-style wallplates are square and fit a conventional UK outlet box. The US-type wallplates are rectangular, the same size as a typical American switch or outlet plate. In the US plates, we offer either a "coupler" style, where the in-wall side provides a fixed HDMI jack which can be oriented either up or down, and a "pigtail" style, where the in-wall side consists of a short length of HDMI cable with a female connector for a bit more flexibility in routing; in the UK plates, we offer the pigtail style, but not the coupler style.

Keystone-insert Wallplates:
For other types of connection besides HDMI, we offer the following "keystone"-style wallplates, which provide options for RCA, BNC, F-connector, speaker binding post, and RJ-45 (CAT5) connection. The HDMI wallplates above are not compatible with these as the aperture size required for the HDMI inserts is larger than the standard keystone insert opening. For any installation, you'll need to figure out how many jacks you want, of what types, and order a blank plate with the appropriate (or larger) number of holes. Unused holes can be closed with blank inserts. Please note that most inserts are priced and sold on a "single" basis, but binding posts and blank inserts are sold in pairs. For assembly instructions on putting the keystone plates and inserts together, see our Assembly Instruction Sheet.
